There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off. Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer. tips on how to reduce dark circles, the causes of dark circles, home remedies; eye creams reviews, make up tips, and natural healer.

cosmetics maynot be the answer, but nutrition. I am 43 and I look at my drinking and smoking days a no cosmetic can cover it. sometimes too much dieting and lack of b vitamins and iron. I changed my life style and look younger at 43 than 33. I am not a party girl anymore and I study alot, plus I run and bicycle to work. I have legs that look better than women half my age. look at what you are eating and putting in your body. Drink water and take vitamins every morning and night. Take your b and c with iron in the morning. If you are having a drink night and I do not judge, take a triple dose of thiamine because my best friend is a nurse and it helps your energy. wait till morning to take the b and c and iron, because at night you need the normal amount of A D and K plus a double dose of calcium and take it only in calcium like Tums and are tasty and chewable. Do not mix the above with the below because calcium and iron cancel each other.

I do mine in the same order but let the foundation and concealer dry first then brush lightly the powder. Powder on damp face products will always cake up.

Have you tried the Physician's Formula makeup yet? It comes in a couple of different forms -- BUT what is awesome is the types of concealers The one for under the eyes is yellow to tone the darkness, and if you have redness, (blemishes, etc. on face), there is a green one to tone down the red -- use very sparingly, and then use your normal foundation (you can't use the concealers alone). They work very well.

try using less of the MDMM. i have that too, and it does tend to get cakey. also, put the concealer on first, then MDMM, then the powder.
you wouldnt really have these problems if you didnt have circles [but lets face it, we all do]. if you wet two spoons at night, put them in the freezer and then in the morning put them on your eyes for a few minutes, you won't have such dark circles. it raises the blood and such to your skin so that you get real color and not dark circles. and make sure you get lots of sleep. drinks oodles of water. and exercise is supposed to help make the circles go away too.

good luck =]

For foundation I always use: a cover up stick, then liquid foundation than I sweep on a powder, blush and bronzer. I have circles too, but they aren't too bad. Drink a lot of water, and get plenty of sleep
